The hostel manager was incredibly kind and allowed me to check in early. He provided helpful information about the city and gave great restaurant recommendations. The hostel is conveniently located near bus stops for easy transportation to Seoraksan National Park and the bus station for travel to Busan and Seoul. The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable, and there were hand soaps in the bathroom. The hostel also had lockers for secure storage.

Looking for a cheap, clean place near the beach, we chose to stay at The House. The room was spotless and the bedding was fresh. The hot water worked perfectly. The decor was enchanting, reminiscent of a Ghibli movie with Hisaishi's music playing in the background. The owner, Yoo, was attentive and gave great advice on local attractions. The common area was cozy and the kitchen well-maintained. The location was convenient, close to the bus terminal, and downtown was just a short walk away. a fantastic guest house experience.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

The location of this hostel is perfect, just a short walk from the intercity bus terminal and within walking distance to many attractions. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, providing maps and recommendations for restaurants and activities. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with electric blankets to keep you warm in the winter. The hostel itself has a unique and homey design, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, the hostel offers free locker usage and strong wifi throughout. It's a great place to meet new people and make friends during your stay.
One minor issue is that the pillows in the rooms are too large and flat for some people's liking.

I got great value for my money at this cozy, quirky hostel. The room was really nice and had an electric blanket to keep me warm during my winter trip. The location was perfect, close to the intercity bus terminal and within walking distance to many attractions. The staff, especially the friendly lady, provided me with helpful information and recommendations for food and getting to Seoraksan park.
The breakfast was simple with just toast and cereal, but it would have been even better if they had orange juice available.
